Taste is powerful!

Taste isn't just about pleasure - it's a powerful biological tool designed to guide us toward what our bodies need. While modern wellness culture often frames taste as an obstacle to healthy eating, flavor is actually essential for balancing detoxification, supporting immunity, and regulating hunger. Our bodies are wired to respond to taste because  in nature, it connects us directly to the life and nutrients within food.

It's time to support your clients in a new way - to empower them to honor their bodies and all that taste is doing for them. By embracing flavor complexity and nutrient density your clients will build their capacity to shift their preferences towards healthy eating instead of away from it, making you the nutritional hero!

Work with Sherry to cultivate a flavor focused protocol for your clients. By embracing your nutritional guidance and personalized dietary restrictions, together you'll examine recipes, highlight flavorful enhancements, create comparable ingredient substitutions, ensure flavor diversity and offer tasty resources for your clients to embrace. Become the expert that not only offers delicious dietary protocols, but empowers your clients to fully recognize how their taste experience translates to systemic changes, improved satiety and a preference for healthier foods.

TASTING WORKSHOPS

Bring taste to life in a real-life interactive tasting workshop led by Sherry - either in person or virtually. Start by establishing a baseline understanding of what the 5 tastes that we experience represent nutritionally. As we mindfully step into tasting, honoring all of the bodily functions that come with the experience, your clients will learn to recognize the correlation of the flavors salty, sweet, sour, bitter and umami. This experience takes nutritional understanding beyond conceptual understanding into a somatic experience. We'll reveal the differences between flavors in nature vs how they might be misrepresented in manufactured foods. By helping them make this connection, they can trust themselves more to eat more nutrient dense foods while supporting a more neurologically supportive eating practice.

BITTERSWEET CHALLENGES

When trying to eat healthy - these two tastes/flavors likely present the greatest challenge when sticking to healthy eating protocols. Sweet flavors are plentiful and universally appealing, while bitter flavors are traditionally unliked and challenging to incorporate.

By recognizing the value in BOTH of these flavors and the way that they offset each other, both in flavor acceptance and biological functions, clients will learn to embrace both flavors and even begin to see their preferences shift. Once they understand the many many benefits of bitter compounds in foods, they'll seek (and even crave) them more. These challenges make preference adaptations fun!

JOIN THE REGENERATIVE MOVEMENT

A true connection to our food happens when we recognize that our food isn't simply a commodity that exists for human consumption. In it's most flavorful and nutritious form, it comes from soil that has been tended and stewarded by those who care not just about financial return for yield, but the sanctity of life itself. Regeneration is a state of constant evolution in support of life, and it's relevance is critical to our food system's survival.  By embracing the nutrient/flavor connection, you're not just setting yourself apart as a practitioner, you're supporting a movement that creates wealth as health for generations to come.
